The film „so quiet so loud“ follows the 4 year old Maja in her everyday life. Next to her playing, drawing and crawling all day long, she also must visit the hospital and join learning enhancement activities, because she suffers from cancer and has a genetic disorder. In order to get to know the person beyond their diagnosis, the film does not focus on her physical features but is dedicated to the smaller moments of her life. The observing style of the film gives an intimate inside view of the life of a family and shows how love, comprehension and patience can shape a child’s life.
