Ten-year-old Laure prefers to walk around like a boy: with short hair and loose clothes. During the summer vacation, she moves with her family and takes the opportunity to be new and unknown. When the neighbor girl Lisa asks her what her name is, Laure says: Michaël. From now on, the neighborhood kids think she's a boy, and “Michaël” plays soccer with them, roughhousing and liking Lisa so much that she kisses him. Laure is happy. But playing with her identity presents Laure with ever greater challenges. Not only do the other children not know that she is a girl. Nor does her family know anything about “Michaël”.
