Pipì, Pupù and Rosmary are starving and so they decide to stop for lunch. But since they haven’t got any real food, the three use their imagination to conjure up a most wonderful lunch of bread and sausages. After heaving thus ‘eaten’, they lie on their backs and admire the eagles soaring above them, which gives Pipì the idea of building a kite which would allow Pupù to go and look for Mapà in the sky. When Pupù is finally flying among the eagles, a storm arises, but his two friends who are waiting for him on the ground don’t know this. When Pipì and Rosmary find his broken kite which has crashed to the ground, they think they have lost their little friend forever. In reality, Pupù has been saved by one of the eagles who brings him back safely to the ground and moreover shows the trio the direction in which he has seen Mapà take off.
