Season 2 | Episode 24: A StORM Of QUEStiON MARKS (DUBitO ERGO SUM)

Pipì, Pupù & Rosemary

Nature/Animation, Italy 2007

Pipì, Pupù and Rosmary continue their journey, searching for Mapà when, at a certain point, Rosmary has a doubt and as soon as she does, a huge question mark appears above her head. From that moment on Pipì and Pupù are starting to have doubts too and with every question they ask, even with every thought, a new question mark appears in the sky, until the sun is almost completely obscured by them. While our three little friends wreck their brains trying to solve the problem of the question marks, they meet a bear who walks backwards because in his opinion it is the only way to avoid asking questions. In fact, in the bear’s opinion, walking backwards an individual will never encounter new things but will always have one eye on the past and thus on things well-known and seen before. And so Pipì, Pupù and Rosmary, even though the question marks try to dissuade them, decide to adopt the bear’s technique. The only effect this has it that the question marks get so furious they unleash a real hurricane which only calms down after the four poor victims have apologized and promise to, from now on, always keep asking questions and always walk forwards.
