Season 2 | Episode 25: it'S RAiNiNG, it'S RAiNiNG...

Pipì, Pupù & Rosemary

Nature/Animation, Italy 2007

Pipì, Pupù and Rosmary are out in the pelting rain which finally turns into a torrent which floods the whole forest. To save themselves, our three little friends are forced to build a raft but, while they are navigating the tempestuous waters, they encounter a leaf on which two little ants are struggling to stay afloat. Aware of the danger the two little insects are in, Rosmary decides to pull them onto their raft but while she tries to do this, she falls onto the leaf herself and is carried away by the waves. Pipì and Pupù, upset at having lost their friend, start to cry, but there isn’t time to despair because the stormy waters render the raft unmanageable and they risk capsizing. At a certain point Pipì, Pupù and the two little ants find themselves navigating out in the open sea and, as they are wondering how they will survive without food nor water, a shark approaches the raft. But it’s a kind shark and, to prove that he is, he starts pushing the raft towards an island. As soon as they have landed, the two ants greet and thank their saviours and go off to find themselves a home, while Pipì and Pupù, feeling melancholy, send a prayer to Mapà to make them find Rosmary again, after which they go to sleep. The next day our two friends wake up to a wonderful surprise: Rosmary is asleep on the beach, clutching the leaf. And so Pipì, Pupù and Rosmary, reunited again, decide to climb back onto the raft and sail back off.
