Pipì, Pupù and Rosemary run into an egg that a giant ostrich has lost, but since they don't know this particular bird, they think that what they have found is a magic egg which will fulfill all their desires. While our trio are dancing around it, the egg hatches and out comes a chick. In the meantime, mother ostrich spots her egg in the forest and chases after Pipì, Pupù and Rosemary, believing they stole the egg and want to harm it. Impervious to their explanations she starts to pursue the three little friends, cursing them to hell and back, until the crying of the little chick calls her back and Pipì, Pupù and Rosemary breathe a sigh of relief about their very narrow escape.
